Written on the occasion of my son Jacob’s 17th birthday. The photo was taken in the Lake District, England, UK.
Ode To Jacob
Once I was so tall
And you so small,
When I juggled for you
You couldn’t see,
Now you’re as tall as me*
And we can juggle eye to eye
* He’s now taller than me!
