Poem No. 41 Enclosed

This poem, originally published as part of NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month) back in April of 2013, was inspired by today’s photo on My Photo Blog on the theme of ‘walls’.

Enclosed

Man in the wall
You’re hunched and enclosed,
Not standing tall,
Super imposed,
Cold stone
Crushing
Broken bones,
Knees drawn
To your chest,
With elbows pressed
Tight,
A naked fight
For breath,
And a lost lonely death
