Rural Graffiti on a Yorkshire Tree

Love etched on a Yorkshire tree,
Rural graffiti,
Our hearts run free,
Words cut deep into the bark,
With a knife so sharp,
They will last forever,
Impervious to the weather

Faded love etched on a Yorkshire tree,
Rural Graffiti,
My blood runs free,
Words cut deep into the heart,
With a tongue so sharp,
They will last forever,
Exposed to the weather
